    Play Therapy

Play therapy helps children express their feelings and work through challenges using toys, games, and art. I use this approach to help kids understand their emotions, solve problems, and feel better.

    Tweens & Teens

Teen therapy focuses on building strong relationships to create a safe space for healing and growth. By fostering connection, teens can openly explore their emotions, develop coping skills, and work through challenges.

    Adults

I strive to create a safe, supportive space where young adults and college students can openly share, build resilience, and work through life’s challenges. I also support individuals during pregnancy and the postpartum period, offering compassionate perinatal mental health care as they navigate this important life transition.

  • Parenting Support

I help caregivers strengthen their bond with their child through play and positive communication, equipping them with therapeutic tools to support emotional growth and foster a secure, connected relationship.

The process for children and teens:

  1. Free Consultation: Schedule a free consultation with me to ensure you feel comfortable before moving forward with a session

  2. Caregiver Intake Session: Caregivers will meet with me for one initial session. This intake helps us create a holistic understanding of your child and family’s needs and begin working together to support you as caregivers. (For caregivers of older teens, this process may look different.)

  3. Child Therapy Begins: After the intake, I will begin meeting with your child. Early sessions focus on building rapport, allowing your child to explore the therapy room and ease into the experience.

  4. Ongoing Therapy & Parent Support: Your child will attend weekly therapy sessions. Caregivers will meet with me every 4–6 sessions for parent consultations to support the work your child is doing in therapy.

  5. Ongoing Assessment: Together, we will continuously assess your child’s needs and adjust our plan as needed to best support their growth and well-being. This may look like including some family sessions or sibling sessions!
